 Director: Angela Robinson

Screenplay: Angela Robinson

Starring: Jordana Brewster, Sara Foster, Meagan Good, Devon Aoki, Jill Ritchie, Jessica Cauffiel, Geoff Stults, Jimmi Simpson, Michael Clarke Duncan, & Holland Taylor

D.E.B.S. originated as a comic that was created by Robinson, which then evolved into an award-winning short film in 2003. The 2004 feature film expands on the short’s idea of a paramilitary school that seeks out female spy recruits through specific questions hidden within the SATS.

Four D.E.B.S., Amy (Sara Foster), Max (Meagan Good), Dominique (Devon Aoki) and Janet (Jill Ritchie), are sent on a mission to track down and apprehend notorious criminal mastermind Lucy Diamond (Jordana Brewster). When the women attempt to ambush Diamond, she evades capture. As Diamond is escaping she collides with Amy, who has split up from the rest of the crew. The two of them draw their guns, but also begin to flirt.

After their meet-cute, Lucy Diamond begins to pursue Amy romantically. Their flirtations continue and Diamond eventually stages a ‘kidnapping,’ which gives them the opportunity to run away together. But, how will the story end for the notorious super-villain and her “goody two-shoes” government spy girlfriend?

D.E.B.S. is available for streaming on Hollywood Suite (Canada), Starz and Fubo (USA), Max (Mexico) – it’s also available on DVD. The original short film can currently be found streaming on Vimeo/Dailymotion.
